Job Responsibilities
- Maintain stable client base and server environment
- Support for client’s hosting services
- Troubleshoot support inquires related to http, DNS, MySQL, mail and other system issues
- Escalate issues to appropriate departments if needed
- Responsive and adaptive communication with clients and staff
- Server and incident management
- Add resources to internal company knowledge bases
- Consistently arrive on-time and ready to work
Requirements
- Basic computer and Internet skills
- Understanding of general IT technology skill set
- Troubleshooting experience with web applications
- Excellent phone/client communication skills
Desired Skills
- Analytical troubleshooting skills in a support environment
- Knowledge of IP protocol suite
- LAMP, HTML/PHP, IIS
- Linux command line familiarity, configuration, file handling experience
- System administration, web infrastructure, and support experience
- DNS setup and troubleshooting experience
