Business Development Manager

Job Responsibilities

  • Identify valuable emerging markets for data center, cloud services, and telecom industries.
  • Identify potential clients for our services and complete appropriate research on their business and infrastructure needs.
  • Create and conduct strong sales presentations of services and solutions that are offered by, Inc.
  • Direct market channel development activity and new business development.
  • Foster relationships with prospective clients, while maintaining existing client partnerships.
  • Collaborate with DCIS team to create contract proposals for current and prospective clients.
  • Facilitate the negotiation of DCIS contracts to stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with DCIS and Solutions Architect teams to ensure that contracted product specifications are executed on time.
  • Become a subject matter expert on our business products, processes, and operations along with keeping up-to-date with industry trends.
  • Attend industry conferences and networking events to represent the HostDime brand.
  • Develop and guide the DCIS team in implementation of innovated outbound sales tactics.


  • 2 to 3 years of experience in outbound B2B Sales and/or business development in the IT sector with a proven track record of success.
  • Vast knowledge of technology and IT industry dynamics
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic, and goal-driven environment.
  • Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrate the ability to deal effectively and professionally with all types of client situations.
  • Proficiency working with the Microsoft Office suite and industry specific software such as Salesforce, Jira, etc.
  • Ability to prioritize responsibilities and to operate with changing priorities.
  • Ability to work in an autonomous manner to accomplish goals and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to travel within the U.S., as needed, to meet with potential clients and to attend networking events.
  • U.S. citizenship or permanent resident.

Desired Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Management, Sales, Marketing, or related field.
  • Experience working in an IaaS, SaaS, telecom, or data center organization.
  • Experience in compensation based sales initiatives.
  • Experience networking and prospecting utilizing social media, service organizations, and other sales skills.
  • Bilingual in Spanish or Portuguese is a plus.
