Technical Support Technician II

Job Responsibilities

  • Maintain stable client base and server environment
  • Support for client’s hosting services
  • Troubleshoot advanced support inquires related to http, DNS, MySQL, mail and other system issues
  • Escalate issues to appropriate departments if needed
  • Responsive and adaptive communication with clients and staff
  • Server and incident management
  • Manage transfers of client data between servers
  • Add resources to internal company knowledge bases
  • Consistently arrive on-time and ready to work


  • Very strong computer and Internet skills
  • Experience with general IT technology skill set
  • Troubleshooting experience with web applications
  • Excellent phone/client communication skills
  • Must have extensive experience using and troubleshooting cPanel and Plesk
  • Knowledge of IP protocol suite
  • Experience with LAMP, HTML/PHP, IIS
  • Linux command line familiarity, configuration, file handling experience
  • System administration, web infrastructure, and support experience
  • DNS setup and troubleshooting experience

Desired Skills

  • Experience managing Windows server environments
  • Experience working in a web hosting environment
  • Familiarity with, Inc. policies and procedures
  • Ability to learn new things quickly and adapt to the changing technology landscape
