How to Change the Root Password for WHM

This article covers how to change the Root Password for WHM.

1. Log in to WHM: https://SERVERHOSTNAME.COM/whm
2. Type "Change Root Password" in the search box at the top left (under the section "Server Configuration"):
   
    
   
   
3. Enter the new password (or use the password generator):
    
   
   
4. Re-enter the password.
5. Click on "Change Password" to finish changing the root password. The change gets applied immediately.
