Global cloud datacenter provider HostDime.com Inc. has recently unveiled its new world class facility in Guadalajara, Mexico. Over the past 16 months, Orlando, Florida based HostDime.com has been working hard behind the scenes building yet another state-of-the-art datacenter.
The Mexico facilities are approximately 10,000 square feet and fully equipped with powerful generators, UPS systems, top-notch security, and fire suppression systems. The datacenter was created with “green energy” efficiency thanks to proprietary aerodynamic designs, among other “green” technologies by resident engineer David Vivar.
HostDime has adopted the POD design which allows efficiency and scalability on demand. These multiple PODs can be adapted to house our many product offerings including Dedicated Servers, Public/Private Cloud Servers, and VPS Servers. Clients can also physically house server hardware in HostDime’s Mexico datacenter via the colocation product.
The Mexico network has two diverse and redundant connections from Alestra with direct peering from Telmex, the biggest ISP in Mexico, and MegaCable, the biggest ISP cable network in Mexico. Both are running multiple Gigabit fiber connections into the datacenter facility. This results in high performance routing within Mexico to reach 95% of all homes at the lowest latency. HostDime’s goal with this datacenter is to implement the very latest technologies to deliver the very best network in Mexico.

I don’t know how they are going to lure people Colo in Mexico when the prices are 4 to 5 times more expensive than the US and the difference is measured in Milli-seconds. I can’t sell my clients colo in Mexico with US colo being so cheap. I always propose both, and they always choose US hosting for security, and price advantage.
