Let the games begin!
As you may already know, HostDime is now holding a “Where’s Alex?” contest in order to win HostDime’s cherished mascot, HD Alex! We’re looking forward to find out how well you can pin-point the location (Landmark and City) of HostDime’s Alex! We have recently updated the rules for our “Where’s Alex?” contest. Therefore, in order to participate, you will need to follow the instructions below:
Step 1: Make sure that you are one of our beloved HostDime clients who currently lives in the United States.
Step 2: You will also need to ‘Like’ our Facebook page AND ‘Follow’ our Twitter account before participating in this contest.
Step 3: We will first post a link to a specific photo, through our Facebook and Twitter, of HD Alex standing in front of a famous landmark.
Step 4: Once you figure out HD Alex’s location (city and landmark), shout out the answer by either tweeting:
“My Answer to the @HostDime #WheresAlex contest is [insert the specific location here].”
…or posting this Facebook comment underneath the “Where’s Alex” post on our wall:
“My Answer to HostDime’s ‘Where’s Alex’ contest is [insert the specific location here].”
The first image posted will have any obvious details cropped out to make the contest a bit more difficult. Even if someone posts the correct answer, we will continue posting clearer, larger photos on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. We are giving everyone a chance to shout out HD Alex’s location, but you will have a better chance of winning if you post the answer from both your Twitter and Facebook accounts.
Once the contest finishes on Thursday, HostDime will put all of the contestants’ names who answered correctly into a hat and randomly select a winner. We will reward that person by announcing their name on our Facebook, Twitter, and our recently updated HD Connect newsletter along with sending an original HostDime Alex the Trexi in the mail; Free of charge. Unfortunately, for right now at least, we can only let you win once.
