HostDime Certified Under U.S.-E.U. Safe Harbor Privacy Framework

HostDime, a provider of managed hosting services, announced today it has been certified under the United States-European Union Safe Harbor framework, which enables U.S. companies to comply with the E.U Data Protection Directive.

The U.S. Department of Commerce developed the Safe Harbor framework to bridge differences between U.S. and E.U. privacy law, and it is intended prevent accidental information disclosure by organizations that store customer data. The program is voluntary.

Privacy and account security is something that is of utmost importance to our organization, and Safe Harbor is an excellent framework to follow for trade and privacy principles. HostDime and its international divisions serve a large number of clients located in the European Union, and voluntarily compliance with the Safe Harbor framework enables the company to better serve these clients.
