Two years ago, if anyone would have told me that I’d be working in web hosting, I’d have called them a liar. It is an accepted fact among my peers and colleagues that I like writing. Putting pen to paper just seems to beguile me — hence the reason I majored in journalism and communications. I wanted to meet people, inspire others and interview legends while clutching a digital audio recorder and asking pressing questions. It’s funny that sometimes the things that we plan on doing don’t quite work out the way that we expected – not that there’s anything wrong with that. After all, sometimes our trajectories in terms of a career can lead us to something we didn’t quite anticipate…like web hosting for example.
Seven Things that May turn off Some People in Regards to Your Website
When it comes to getting information nowadays, the Internet seems to be everyone’s primary source. There’s nothing wrong with that. After all, it is 2012. While encyclopedias now appear to be a thing of the past, everyone seems to turn to the World Wide Web as a digital supplier, an ever-spewing funnel, of news and knowledge. Nevertheless, there are things that can hinder that particular funnel in terms of being appealing and captivating when it comes to some websites.

Internet Explorer (IE) used to be the top dog of browsers back in the day. It was so much better than what AOL had to offer, and hey, it came pre-installed on every new PC! The little blue “e” was how you got to the Internet. Plus the other guys don’t have nearly as many security holes. IE is like Swiss cheese.

How I Fell in Love with Twitter
It doesn’t take a rocket scientist to know that social media has practically revolutionized the way people communicate with one another. What began with simple rotary dial telephones has now evolved into something of an Internet insurrection. As someone who generally rejects the latest in technological crazes and fads, I’m not ashamed to say that I fought off joining Facebook, held off on signing up for Twitter, avoided Linkedin at all costs, and flat out declined membership with Pinterest.
