HostDime announced today it has received IP address allocations from the Réseaux IP Européens Network Coordination Centre (RIPE CC) and the Latin American and Caribbean Internet Addresses Registry (LACNIC). The new IP allocations mean that HostDime has IP addresses in more than half of the world’s Internet regions.
Along with its allocations from the American Registry for Internet Numbers (ARIN), HostDime now has IP addresses in three out of the five regional Internet registries. In the coming year, HostDime plans to receive an IP address allocation from the Asia-Pacific Network Information Centre (APNIC), which will help HostDime continue to expand its operations internationally.
Additionally, local region IP assignment is an important variable in the ranking algorithms for many search engines. With IPs in such a variety of regions, HostDime has an edge over other hosting companies.
“HostDime is one few hosting firms that physically operates in more than three international locations and maintains its own IP ranges in each respective region. Today’s announcement is yet another milestone for our company as we continue to add more international hosting offerings to better service our clients’ worldwide needs. Local region IP routing is crucial to international operations,” said Emmanuel Vivar, CEO of HostDime.
HostDime India, launched earlier this year, is HostDime’s latest international division. HostDime operates six international divisions in total, with operations in Haifa, Israel (HostDime Israel), Joao Pessoa, Brazil (HostDime Brazil), Ibague, Colombia (HostDime Colombia), Monterrey, Mexico (HostDime Mexico), and Kerala, India. The United Kingdom division is run out of the company’s United States headquarters, in Orlando, Fla.
