HostDime has called Central Florida home since 2003. With our existing Orlando data center nearing capacity, we designed SuperNova to support the next stage of our infrastructure and the growing technology needs of the region.
The seven-story, 100,000-square-foot facility brings HostDime’s U.S. headquarters and data center operations together under one roof. Three floors are dedicated to data center space, with capacity for more than 1,000 racks, enterprise colocation, private infrastructure, cloud, and interconnection.
Located at 1 Innovative Pl in the Orlando metro area, SuperNova is in the final stages of construction, commissioning, and facility preparation ahead of opening.
SuperNova is engineered to support demanding enterprise security, compliance, and operational requirements, including Tier IV infrastructure and applicable SOC 2, PCI, ISO, NIST, HIPAA, FedRAMP, and FISMA requirements.
SuperNova was designed from the ground up as a data center. Power, cooling, connectivity, security, equipment movement, client access, and future expansion were incorporated into the building from the beginning.
The Category 5 hurricane-rated facility includes space for more than 1,000 racks, three redundant meet-me rooms, Tier IV mechanical and electrical infrastructure, and diverse fiber pathways connecting the facility to regional and global networks.
SuperNova also includes conference and event space for up to 300 people, providing a home for technology events, training, partner meetings, and executive briefings.
SuperNova will also be home to HostDime’s U.S. engineers, infrastructure teams, support staff, and operations teams, putting the people who operate and support the infrastructure in the same building as the systems they manage.
SuperNova was designed to become one of the most connected data center facilities in the Orlando metro area and an important interconnection point between Florida, the Southeastern United States, Latin America, and global networks.
Multiple diverse fiber pathways enter the property, while three redundant meet-me rooms allow carriers, networks, and customers to interconnect directly inside the facility. HostDime also maintains private fiber connectivity to major network infrastructure in Miami, providing low-latency access to one of the primary gateways between the United States and Latin America.
SuperNova will support connectivity from providers including AT&T, Cogent, Crown Castle, Hurricane Electric, Lumen, Megaport, Spectrum Enterprise, Summit Broadband, Uniti Fiber, Verizon, Windstream, Zayo, and others.
HostDime’s story in Central Florida started small, with a single server run by an Embry-Riddle student. More than two decades later, SuperNova represents the next stage of that growth and a long-term investment in the region and the Eatonville community surrounding our facility.
Central Florida has also been central to building our team. Many HostDime employees have come through UCF, helping us grow our engineering, infrastructure, support, and operations teams locally.
SuperNova will support technology jobs, local spending, property tax revenue, educational partnerships, and new opportunities for technology events and training. The facility was also designed with its neighbors in mind, including a closed-loop, air-cooled chilled water system that limits municipal water use and redundant power infrastructure planned with Duke Energy.
As SuperNova prepares to open, we want Eatonville residents and the broader Central Florida community to understand how the facility works and what this investment means for the area. We’ll continue sharing updates on its infrastructure, operations, and community impact.

SuperNova was planned in coordination with Duke Energy and includes dedicated electrical infrastructure and multiple layers of redundancy. Actual electricity consumption will depend on the amount and type of computing infrastructure operating inside the facility. The building also includes backup power systems designed to maintain critical operations during utility interruptions.
SuperNova uses a closed-loop chilled water cooling system with air-cooled equipment. Water circulates repeatedly through the cooling system rather than requiring a continuous supply of municipal water for normal cooling operations.
SuperNova will support colocation, private data center suites, bare metal infrastructure, private cloud, interconnection, private connectivity, cross-connects, managed infrastructure, and remote hands services.
Central Florida provides geographic diversity from coastal infrastructure markets while maintaining strong connectivity throughout Florida and to major network hubs in Miami. SuperNova also allows businesses in the Orlando region to access enterprise data center infrastructure locally rather than placing critical systems hundreds of miles away.
