HostDime US Data Center Policies and Guidelines (Last Rev. 02/18/2026).
1.1. Clients must maintain a professional demeanor and refrain from profanity or offensive language while on premises.
1.2. Clients must comply with all reasonable requests from Data Center personnel while onsite.
1.3. Clients must be familiar with and adhere to applicable OSHA standards for computer room environments.
1.4. HostDime reserves the right to suspend physical access during emergencies.
1.5. Clients are responsible for the conduct, accuracy of information, and actions of all authorized contacts, contractors, and visitors.
1.6. Clients are financially responsible for any damage caused by their actions in the Facility.
2.1. Client accounts must be in good standing with no overdue invoices to access the facility.
2.2. Authorized contacts must be registered through the HostDime CORE Client Portal and match government-issued identification.
2.3. Contractor personnel must be pre-authorized and registered by HostDime staff, with identification matching system records.
2.4. Closed-toe footwear is required for all individuals entering the Data Center.
2.5. Registered service animals may be permitted at HostDime's discretion but are never allowed in server, electrical, or mechanical rooms.
2.6. HostDime issued badges must be visible at all times and may not be shared.
2.7. Prior written authorization from HostDime for groups above 6 is required.
2.8. Prior written authorization from HostDime is required for visitors under 18.
2.9. Each individual entering the facility must go through the check-in process.
3.1. All visitors must check in and out through reception and follow posted facility rules.
3.2. All carried items (bags, laptops, containers, equipment) are subject to inspection upon entry and exit.
3.3. HostDime may access any area of the Data Center, including cabinets and cages, at any time.
3.4. Clients may not tamper with security, monitoring, or safety systems.
3.5. Sharing HostDime proprietary information without written permission is prohibited.
4.1. Alcohol, controlled substances, firearms, and explosives are prohibited on HostDime property.
4.2. Smoking and vaping are prohibited in all buildings.
4.3. Eating and drinking are prohibited on the Data Center floor and in server rooms.
4.4. RF-emitting devices (e.g., two-way radios, Wi-Fi access points) are prohibited.
4.5. Skateboards, bicycles, scooters, skates, and similar devices are prohibited indoors.
4.6. HostDime is not responsible for vehicles or their contents in parking areas.
4.7. HostDime does not accept mail on behalf of clients.
4.8. Unauthorized devices may be seized, removed, or destroyed by HostDime.
4.9. Suspicious or concerning activity should be reported to HostDime immediately.
4.10. Clients are prohibited from propping doors open or keeping them from normal operations.
5.1.1. Tools and equipment may be loaned at staff discretion and must be returned in working condition.
5.1.2. Clients are financially responsible for damage or loss of borrowed tools.
5.1.3. Cabinets and cages must be kept clean and orderly.
5.1.4. Cage and cabinet doors must remain secured when not actively in use.
5.1.5. Clients are responsible for properly securing locks and any repair costs resulting from improper use.
5.1.6. All cabling must be clearly labeled and maintained in a neat and orderly manner.
5.1.7. Cameras, audio, video, and personal recording devices are prohibited without prior written approval.
5.1.8. Web/IP cameras may be permitted for cage or dedicated cabinet customers with written approval.
5.2.1. Accessing or interfering with raised floors, ceilings, busbars, electrical systems, mechanical systems, cable ladders, or other infrastructure areas
is prohibited.
5.2.2. Operating equipment outside of racks or cabinets is prohibited.
5.2.3. Creating office or workspace areas on the Data Center floor or within cage space is prohibited.
5.2.4. Storing loose parts or materials within colocation space is prohibited.
5.2.5. Storing combustible materials (including paper, cardboard, foam, and plastic bags) within colocation space is prohibited.
5.2.6. Modifying or relabeling cabling within Shared Per-U colocation space is prohibited.
5.2.7. Installing additional cabling or cross-connects within Shared Per-U colocation space is prohibited.
5.2.8. Audio monitoring or recording devices are strictly prohibited.
5.2.9. Mechanical equipment which emits excessive fumes, heat, noise, smoke, or pose a fire, flood, or structural hazard.
